The main activities that will assure reaching project objectives are: to establish consulting, guidance and informing offices, to elaborate and to provide training and consulting programs, to assure consulting in career field, developing income generating activities and computer training. Budget: 9900 USD, out of which the required amount is of 6000 USD, and 3900 USD represent the own contribution. The analyzed period: 01.09.2002 - 31.12.2002 Cashing: in a common account with the Supporting young people in choosing a career micro-project , on the 15.10.2002 from WS Atkins a total sum of 2400 USD 2400 USD were converted in Lei on the 28.10.2002, resulting 78.220.800 lei Payments: a sum of 78.220.800 Lei was paid in advance for typing services and 32.592.000 lei NGO own contribution. Activities that took place: Advising training on career were organized with 3 groups each having 15 persons. Computer training were organized with all students. Organizing evaluations and outcome dissemination at the end of each course. After the partial assessment realised by the donors, they suggested to develop the project, organizing this kind of training with the school and college teachers. The suggestion has been put into practice and the project has been developed by including four more groups to be trained (70 persons): one group containing persons from public area (city community) and the other three groups containing teachers from Baia Mare schools and colleges Other courses have been complementary organized with a number of 70 teachers from our city schools and colleges: Group I = 15 teachers from School nr. 3 - Baia Mare Group II = 15 teachers from Motor College - Baia Sprie Group III = 20 religion teachers from 20 Baia Mare schools. Group IV = 20 religion teachers from all Baia Mare colleges. All this courses were performed by volunteering, because no funds were forecasted for this project extension. Outcome dissemination at the end of each course. Realizing local TV shows to present the project; video recording with aspects during the training courses. All documents regarding project promotion and deployment were also edited in local mass media. Elaborating an information bulletin to present the project process and the target group problems. Editing 4 numbers of informing bulletins. Editing course presentation booklets. Realizing project presentation posters. Realizing an evaluating questionnaire aiming to show how unexpected powerful was this course impact with the trained persons, this fact being an evidence of how imperious is to implement this course on the Baia Mare community. Evaluation: The activities rolled-out by the association are within the program foreseen in the project action plan. The advising activities unrolled in the same time with the computer courses, in very good conditions and catching a great interest from the students (they attended regularly the courses). The association has put into effect an activity report regarding the undertakings unrolled during the analysed period and also a detailed financial report on the expenditure done based on the DFDI financing as from own resources. Very good results were obtained: 40% from the first and second group students found jobs, from the third group 15%; and the fourth group succeeded to obtain external financial support, using it to introduce Internet network at Baia Mare Art Museum. A new group of four volunteers was formed by teachers from the complementary groups. They also realized advising training for their colleagues from schooling area (20 hours), having the theme THE HUMAN BEING TRAFFIC The idea of voluntary work inside the community was developed, and we hope this will be a long term process.
